The morning's programming will include a handicapping seminar with Tom Amello at 10 a.m., analyzing the day’s Saratoga Race Course card, including the featured Spinaway Stakes. About: Join this behind-the-scenes look at the exhibit, Capturing Greatness: A Life’s Passion with co-curator, iconic horse racing photographer, and six-time Eclipse Award winner Barbara Livingston. This exhibit celebrates Livingston’s incredible photography career and her passion in preserving historic negative collections. This tour takes place in the Museum’s McBean Gallery. Space is limited, so get your tickets today! Tickets are free for Museum members (registration still required) and admission is included in the non-museum member ticket price. About: Join us for a presentation and demonstration of Equine Eyes, led by Museum Educator Eric Ross. Equine Eyes is a hands-on research-driven interactive, playful experience designed to simulate how horses perceive the world. Utilizing a specially developed headset with mounted cameras, Equine Eyes provides visitors with an immersive visual and sensory perspective of equine vision. This technology highlights key differences in the field of view and color spectrum compared to human vision, offering a deeper understanding of how horses navigate their environment, leading to discussion about how horses experience the world.
