After the overwhelming support for the two-week BEST Supply Drive in 2024, we will be accepting donations for three months this spring! The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame fully supports BEST and the incredible work they do. Bring a donation to receive free admission to the Museum. All donations go directly to the backstretch workers!

About: The education department will be hosting a two-hour Derby Day of Discovery program in the HorsePlay! Gallery. Kids will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of Derby-themed activities with a hands-on approach to learning about America’s oldest continuously ran stakes race. Topics, and corresponding activities, will include roses, fascinators/top hats, souvenir glasses, and a reading of Gaston Goes to the Kentucky Derby by James Rice.

About: Join us for our annual Derby Party fundraiser at the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame, featuring delicious samplings of local brews, wines and spirits, and signature bites from local restaurants. While exploring the Museum and its exhibits, guests will enjoy live entertainment before a live airing of the 2025 Kentucky Derby in the Official Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame.

About: From 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. a Museum educator will be in the HorsePlay! Gallery  to talk about all things Preakness Stakes with kids while also helping them put together equine-themed puzzles.
