SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame will open a new exhibition, Hot Dog! The Harry M. Stevens Concessions Experience, in the Link Gallery on Jan. 10. The exhibit focuses predominantly on Harry M. Stevens concessions at racetracks in the first half of the 20th century and features historic photographs, drawings, dinnerware, advertising, and a painting. The exhibition was made possible by generous loans from Mary Jane Hunt, horsefeathers!, the Harry M. Stevens Family Foundation, Inc., and Ken Grayson.

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame has launched a new educational initiative, Readers Up!, a free program designed to expand learning opportunities and bring the Museum experience into the classroom. Readers Up! offers complimentary copies of equine literature to schools throughout the United States for use in their English Language Arts curriculums. The program is sponsored by Stewart’s Shops.
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame will host its Countdown to the Breeders’ Cup preview program Saturday, Oct. 28 at noon in the Hall of Fame. Racing experts Jeff Carle and Michael Veitch will provide analysis and predictions for each Breeders’ Cup race. The program is free to attend for Museum members and is included with paid admission for non-members.

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Secretariat’s historic 1973 Triple Crown sweep, the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame’s traveling exhibition honoring the accomplishments and enduring legacy of the famed Meadow Stable colt will visit Woodbine Racetrack and Keeneland Race Course in October. A Tremendous Machine: Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Secretariat’s Triple Crown will be at Woodbine in Toronto from Oct. 5-8 and at Keeneland in Lexington, Ky., from Oct. 25-29.
