The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame will offer free general admission Saturday, Sept. 27 as part of Smithsonian magazine’s 10th annual Museum Day Live! program. The Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A nationwide event, Museum Day Live! offers free admission to visitors presenting a Museum Day Live! ticket.

Award-winning photographer Dona McAdams will host a photography workshop at the Oklahoma Training Track.

The Saratoga Springs History Museum, in partnership with the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame, will present “A Conversation with Tom Durkin” Thursday, Aug. 28 at 7 p.m. as part of the Alfred Z. Solomon Charitable Trust Program Series. The event is free and open to the public.

Robbie Davis, who won 3,382 races and earned more than $115 million in purses during his career as a jockey, along with his son, Dylan, will be featured in the Museum's Guests in the Gallery program.

Author Tricia O'Hara will be in the Museum Lobby to sign copies of her cookbook, "Saratoga Grazing." Event is free and open to the public. Books will be available for sale.

Author Anne Phinney will be on hand to sign copies of her book “Finding My Way to Moose River Farm,” a heartwarming memoir of a happy life spent with a variety of extraordinary creatures.
